Apple Responds to Injury in Collapse of Bethesda Row Store's Giant Glass Door

The large glass doors are an iconic symbol among Bethesda's high-end storefronts.

Apple has reportedly responded to the collapse of a large glass door at its Bethesda Row store as Christmas shoppers swarmed the retail center earlier in the week.

The door, weighing up to 800 pounds, crashed down on a passerby on Monday afternoon, reportedly breaking his pelvis, WJLA reported

Photos posted on social media showed the shattered door and the man on the ground nearby. His injuries were said to be non life-threatening.
