The new restaurants will open in the late spring or summer in the Cabin John Shopping Center and mall.

The Cabin John Shopping Center & Mall is getting three new restaurants: Attman's Delicatessen, Benny's Bar & Grill and Gregorio's Trattoria.

All three are independently owned and operated and are on track to open this spring and summer, according to a statement from the Carl M. Freeman Companies, owner and operator of the shopping center.

This will be the second full-service location for Attman's Delicatessen (7913 Tuckerman Ln., Potomac). It will open—initially for lunch—in the late spring, and will have seating available for 90 dine-in patrons. (The space is 4,202 square feet.) Online ordering and catering service also will be available.

Zagat has singled out Attman's as one of the "17 best sandwich shops in the country ... [offering] an extensive menu of deli fare—from corned beef on rye to kosher-style pickles," the statement said.

Benny's Bar & Grill will serve American fare—such as burgers, steaks and chopped salads—and will open this spring for lunch, dinner and late-night entertainment, according to the statement.

"Plans are in the works for online ordering, a take-out window and future breakfast offerings" in the newly-constructed 5,200-square-foot space at 7747 Tuckerman Ln., Potomac.

"Since fall of 2012, Benny Fischer has been overseeing the build-out that includes an inviting stone façade and 40 feet of garage door-style windows to provide an al fresco atmosphere in fine weather. Inside is seating for 240 patrons and a wood-burning fireplace alongside an extensive bar area where Benny’s will serve 'The Best Damn Drink in Town,' " the statement reported.

Benny's also will feature live entertainment, and auditions already are underway for jazz musicians, singers, piano players and comedians.

Gregorio's Trattoria will serve Italian fare "made the old-fashioned way, with fresh ingredients," according to the restaurant's motto. Gregorio's will offer lunch, dinner and a full bar every day, with seating for 114 diners in its 2,859-square-foot space at 7745 Tuckerman Ln., Potomac.

Gregorio's replaces Umberto's Italian Restaurant.
