Car Still Stuck in Farm Market Building Tuesday Afternoon

As of Wednesday afternoon, it had been one week since a car crashed into the rear facade of the Bethesda Farm Women's Market building.

The building of the Bethesda Farm Women's Market has been closed since a car crashed into the building's rear facade on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 6.

The building has been deemed "unsafe," according to bright orange signs hung in the windows of the building's doors.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the car was still parked partly in a parking space, and partly in the building, which houses many local vendors. The vendors have had to either close while the building (at 7155 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda) is repaired or set up outside the market, which is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (On Sundays, there is an outdoor flea market in the yard and parking lot of the building.)
