Eliot Spitzer Buys Hampden Lane Office Tower

The Washington Business Journal reports on the acquisition by the former New York governor.

Former New York governor Eliot Spitzer has acquired One Bethesda Center, an office and retail tower located at 4800 Hampden Lane, the Washington Business Journal reports.

Spitzer and his father bought the 169,984 square foot property for an undisclosed price tag, according to the business journal. It's valued at $54 million, down from the $71 million JBG paid for the site in December 2009, the business journal reported.

Spitzer told the business journal he has no plans to renovate the building, but he's looking forward to working with tenants there. The full story is available at the Washington Business Journal.
