With summer right around the corner, there’s nothing better than reveling in the bounty of the season and indulging in fresh, local fare. French favorite Mon
Ami Gabi (7239 Woodmont Avenue)
is getting back to basics and celebrating the simple pleasures of fresh ingredients and fantastic wine with its Joseph Drouhin Farm Dinner on Monday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m.

Guests will enjoy a reception featuring a refreshing lemonade cocktail and passed hors d’oeuvres, before taking in an intimate family style meal expertly prepared by Executive Chef Andrew Fleischauer. Featuring products sourced from nearby farms, the five-course meal will include items such as Local Butter Lettuce Salad with Green Goddess Dressing, local French Breakfast Radish and Stonyman Gourmet Aged Goat Cheese, Chesapeake Bay Soft Shell Crab with whole grain mustard beurre blanc and local microgreen salad, and Walnut Hill Farms Hanger Steak with caramelized shallots and pommes dauphine. Blueberry Brown Butter Tart with homemade blueberry ice cream will end things on a sweet note.
