Mon Ami Gabi Hosts Holiday Wine Dinner

With December suddenly in our midst—where did November go?!--  there is no better time to start getting into the holiday spirit. In order to kick off the season, everybody’s favorite French bistro Mon Ami Gabi (7239 Woodmont Ave) is hosting an oh-so-fun and equally festive, “Toast to the Holidays” Wine Dinner.

On Monday, December 5 from 6:30-8:30 pm,  all are invited to raise a glass and toast to this joyous time of year while dining on a delectable five-course menu courtesy of Mon Ami Gabi’s Executive Chef Andrew Fleischauer. While enjoying a slew of fabulous French wines, guests can enjoy holiday favorites such as a fresh salad of Haricot Vert and Frisée complete with warm “Le Chevrot” Aged Goat Cheese tossed in a Black Truffle Vinaigrette and rich and creamy Lobster Chowder. For the third course, Chef Andrew will also serve up tender Confit of Pork Belly over Celery Root Puree with Apple Cider Reduction, followed by savory Herb Roasted Tenderloin of Beef with Pommes Soufflés, Périgourdine Sauce and Roasted Mushrooms. Of course no elegant dinner party would be complete without something sweet, so the decadent Chocolate Hazelnut Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream is just the thing to top off this remarkable spread.
