"Pie in the Sky" Charity Cookbook Signing Event

Gingerbread Pancakes. Eggplant Nibblers. Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Pepperoni Pinwheels. The Best Tortilla Soup.

The Junior Woman's Club of Chevy Chase (JWCCC) recently published a community cookbook, Pie in the Sky, filled with favorite recipes collected from "The Restaurants, Shops, Luminaries, and Kitchens of Chevy Chase and Bethesda, Maryland." Proceeds from the cookbook support the Bistro Boyz program, which pairs young men in NCCF's Greentree Adolescent Program (GAP) with volunteers from JWCCC, who share life skills such as healthy menu planning, budgeting, grocery shopping, and cooking.

Join us on Wednesday, October 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM for a book signing at Chef Tony's Restaurant in Bethesda! Tickets are $25 and include a copy of Pie in the Sky, tastings from select cookbook recipes, and a complimentary beverage.
