Local Business Brings Fitness to Your Front Door

Too tired to get to the gym? Here's one business that brings the gym to you.

For those in search of an easier way to squeeze in a workout, a small business in Montgomery County brings fitness to your front door.

Marc Bernstein founded DoorStep Fitness in 2011 "because I wanted to help my neighbors in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area achieve their health and fitness goals," he explained to Patch.

With a staff of five trainers and two administrators, DoorStep Fitness serves the Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Gaithersburg, Germantown and Northwest Washington, DC, areas.

"Our trainers carry with them upwards of 30 pounds of versatile equipment to ensure that they can offer rigorous workouts and meet all of their clients’ needs," Bernstein said.

To minimize costs, DoorStep Fitness doesn't maintain a studio space—that way, trainers can charge lower prices than competitors, Bernstein explained.
