Original Post, 10 a.m.: Naked Pizza is set to open at 4914 Del Ray Avenue in Bethesda on Friday, according to the restaurant's Facebook Page.

Bethesda Magazine and excited Bethesda diners quickly took to Twitter to spread the news.
The New Orleans-based chain serves up a healthier pizza with no added sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils and “no freaky chemicals.”

In March, co-founder Robbie Vitrano told Bethesda Magazine’s Table Talk blog his pizza was like a healthier version of Dominos or Papa John’s.
“The best part is that it’s still round, still saucy and still cheesy, and still delivered hot to your door in about 30 minutes,” Vitrano told Table Talk.
The pizza market in Bethesda is a to be sure. Naked Pizza's arrival means hungry Bethesdans will soon have another dining option, but does Bethesda need another pizza joint?
