New Renderings Revealed For 15-Story Commerce Lane High-Rise

The development will head to the Montgomery County Planning Board March 14.

The high-rise development at Commerce Lane and Old Georgetown Road will head to the Montgomery County Planning Board March 14, and developers Kettler have provided new renderings as a part of their project plan submission.

The 15-story structure is planned for the site of a United Bank across the street from the Bethesda Metro station.

Kettler is proposing 120 apartments with 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and underground parking. A "pocket park" at the intersection will boast a "highly designed plaza pavilion, high quality paving materials, creative lighting, a lush planting pallet, and an integrated bioretention system," according to the project submission.
