OpenTable diners named six Maryland restaurants for their top-notch American fare, and though Bethesda is well-known for its dining scene, nary a 20814, 20816 or 20817 eatery made the list.
OpenTable sifted through more than five million reviews of more than 15,000 restaurants across the country to determine the winners of the 2012 Diner's Choice awards, the Baltimore Business Journal reports.
Bethesda restaurants also didn't place in other Diner's Choice categories, including most romantic, best service and best brunch -- though Mrs. K's Toll House in neighboring Silver Spring was noted in the latter category.
How do you think Bethesda fares when it comes to American fare? Should a Bethesda restaurant have made the list? If so, which one? Which Bethesda restaurants would you name for best service, most romantic and best brunch? Tell us in the comments.
