Whether you’ve sat in front of the rotary sushi bar (the first in the DC-area), enjoyed table service or gotten take-out, Matuba is one of the best places in the area to enjoy Japanese food.

Since 1979, the Bethesda stalwart has been creating works of sushi art, delicately treating meats and vegetables in the tempura style and serving succulent meat, poultry and seafood dishes.
