Top Liquor Brands of 2011 in Montgomery County

Smirnoff Vodka once again tops the list.

About a year ago, Patch provided you with a list of the among Montgomery County residents in 2010. The list was so popular, we thought we'd check back with the county's Department of Liquor Control to see exactly what's been cluttering our liquor cabinets this past year.

Diane Wurdeman, who works with the county retail stores, was once again able to dig up a list of the most popular liquor, this time for 2011. The list, determined by the volume sold, looks at top liquor items -- so, the most popular sizes, flavors or proofs within a brand, rather than the most popular brands overall.

A big thanks to Wurdeman for her help!
