Tynan Closes, Leaving Two Storefronts Vacant on Wisconsin Place Plaza

The neighboring Friendship Heights storefronts that once housed Tynan Coffee and Tea and clothing boutique Adolfo Dominguez are both vacant.

Friendship Heights is down another business: Tynan Coffee and Tea, which anchored the southern arm of the plaza at The Shops at Wisconsin Place.

The coffee, tea and sandwich shop was closed by last Friday. A sign hung in the window thanking Tynan customers for three years of patronage, and reminding them of Tynan's two other DC-area locations: at 1400 Irving St. NW, Washington, DC, near the Columbia Heights Metro stop, and at 1275 1st St. NW, Washington, DC, near the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro stop.

The Tynan storefront is not the only Wisconsin Place plaza storefront to close recently. Next door is the former storefront for Adolfo Dominguez, a clothing boutique that has closed its doors.
