What would you like to see in the former Green Papaya space?

a popular Bethesda Row Vietnamese restaurant, has closed its doors, Bethesda Magazine's Table Talk blog reported Wednesday.

Bethesda Row management company Federal Realty confirmed the closure of the restaurant, located at 4922 Elm Street, to Bethesda Magazine. Thursday, the restaurant's sign had been removed and paper covered its windows.

Green Papaya was opened in 2000 by Michael and Elaine Phan and voted “Best Vietnamese” restaurant by Bethesda Magazine readers in 2010 and 2011, Table Talk reported.
