This week, we're turning out attention to 1344 Wisconsin Ave. This address used to house a clothing boutique, but now stands vacant. It's an attractive corner space at the intersection of O Street. The real estate listing says it includes 2,651 square feet of retail space.

What kind of store would you like to see here? A small grocer? A pharmacy? How about a hardware store or a deli?

A bagel shop and bakery. Bagels, french bread, maybe a green grocer with fresh fruit? CVS is across the street, so a mini market would probably not make it... but please please NOT another clothes store that spends 10 years going out of business or serving as a front to who knows what!

A bagel shop is a great idea! Somewhere to stop on your way to work to grab a bagel or your way home to grab salad greens and a loaf of bread. Yum! - SC
