HYATT REGENCY BETHESDA ANNOUNCES TECHNOLOGY IMPROVEMENTS AND INTERIOR ENHANCEMENTS

Hyatt Regency Bethesda announces today its plan for technology improvements and interior enhancements for all of its 390 guestrooms and suites, and public areas. On schedule to be completed by spring 2014, Hyatt Regency Bethesda’s high speed internet will offer state of-the-art capacities, and will be made available throughout the entire property. Additionally, the hotel will offer increased cell service, allowing guests and conference attendees seamless connectivity while meeting on the hotel’s lower ballroom and event floors.

Décor improvements include a soft goods renovation to all of the hotel’s guestrooms and elevator landings, which includes new carpeting and bedding in soft earth tones of beige and bronze. The guestroom’s chairs and sofas will be replaced, and all of the cherry and dark wood furniture will be refurbished to round out the contemporary and sleek aesthetic. Additional comforts will include a refrigerator and safe in all of the hotel’s guestrooms.

For meetings and events, the hotel’s popular Concourse Terrace event space will receive new carpeting that features a geometric pattern in vibrant tones of brown, beige, orange and green.
