Bethesda, MD – Urban Country is embracing the beginning of seasonal celebrations and the coming of harvest with a festive Home for the Holidays storewide fall anniversary event. Marking 22 years of providing luxury interior design and fine home furnishings to the national capital region, the locally-owned quintessential boutique for countryside and urban spaces will celebrate American patriotism and honor our wounded military veterans during a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception on Wednesday, October 30 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Urban Country is located in Bethesda Row at 7117 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MD 20814.
Urban Country’s Home For The Holidays event will also present a silent auction with proceeds benefitting The Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund – a Maryland-based nonprofit organization that provides 100 percent of donations it receives directly to wounded soldiers who are recovering at military hospitals in the Washington, DC area. Numerous Bethesda Row merchants and area home furnishings retailers have donated merchandise for the silent auction. Urban Country will also showcase select pieces from the C.R. Laine furniture line, which recently debuted at the store.
“During this festive time of year, we want to embrace America’s roots by celebrating the return of the harvest season and honoring the patriotism of our wounded servicemen, says Rachelle Roth, founder and owner of Urban Country. “The holiday season is meant for the hearth and home and to bring families together, which is what Urban Country’s philosophy is all about. We are proud to help support our wounded heroes currently in recovery in DC area military hospitals.”
