The Central Farm Market World

In today’s world, being able to know where our food comes from gives us a measure of control of our lives. At the Central Markets—Bethesda Central, Pike Central, and Northwest Central—there is excitement on every market day. Both vendors and customers feel the energy and the sense of community coming together.

The goal of the markets is to connect the committed farmers, ranchers, and producers with the customers that appreciate the hard work it takes to bring great products to them. Each vendor commits to standards that set the bar for quality products that support the environment. Whether you come for seasonal produce, field raised meats, poultry and eggs, artisanal cheese, bread, pastry, or any number of prepared foods, you will discover something new.

Our visiting chefs teach how to make seasonal nutritious and fun meals and our Kids Club engages kids and parents with art, food and music activities. This is a community place and many people come to enjoy the food as well as catch up with their friends.

The Central Markets are a happy place and a fun outing for the whole family. Shoppers find products that taste great and that they feel confident about feeding to their families and friends. Our vendors feel they appreciated for their efforts and Both shoppers and vendors go home with smiles on their faces.
