A Wrap-Up of the News Week in Bethesda: May 2 -- May 8

Local reaction to the death of Osama bin Laden, plans for a new Bethesda police station, and updates in the Lululemon case made headlines this week.

The news week in Bethesda began with local reaction to the announcement that Osama bin Laden, terrorist and mastermind of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, had been killed. and the stepped up security and saying justice has been done. Patch about her reaction to the news.

Also on Friday, a Montgomery County Council committee as a part of a residential development. At the meeting, a JBG official said the deal hinged on a zoning text amendment newly proposed by County Executive Isiah Leggett that would allow more density for developers who build publicly owned or operated government facilities as part of their projects.
