If you're a nature-lover or just someone who appreciates the beauty of the passing of time, this weekend is the perfect time to get out on the road to take in the fall foliage.

In Maryland, the top three suggestions are Patapsco Valley State Park, Sugarloaf Mountain and Swallow Falls State Park. The top locations in D.C. might even be a little closer: Rock Creek Park, Constitution Gardens and the C&O Canal National Historic Park, all in Northwest.
