a Bethesda Lane French chocolate and pastry shop, has closed its doors, Bethesda Magazine's Table Talk blog reported late last week.
It's unclear why chocolatier Jacques Poulain closed his doors. Table Talk spoke with Fancy Cakes by Leslie owner Leslie Poyourow, who said the store held an auction last week to sell off equipment and display racks and was offering food items for half price.
Table Talk also reports that nearby will close its doors in January, citing high rents on Bethesda Row.
