Why Go: Bethesda’s own collegiate baseball team, the Big Train, will open their season with a game against the Baltimore Red Birds.

Why Go: This outdoor children’s festival is sure to be a great outing for the whole family. Geared for kids 12 and under, the festival will feature live entertainment, hands-on creative activities, face painters, roving performers, and balloonists.

Why Go: This festival is in its 31st year and celebrates traditional folk music. This year, over 450 performers will participate. The festival features folk music, dance and traditional crafts.
