I watched it. I thought it was good. It could have been a two-hour episode with all of the twists and turns of the case. I wanted to see more footage on when the detectives called her out on the lies, but it may have not been released.

I would like to say I just watch the episode this morning and something I can't sit well with I see two human bodies outside the store in all black walking pass the apple store no one answer who were they?
Dave Semko May 26, 2012 at 02:27 AM
Tana Porter, I thought the same exact thing. I don't know why they didn't address that. What are the odds of there being 2 guys dressed in black walking outside the very place she claimed there were 2 guys in black. And why would her attorney admit guilt when she never admitted guilt? I think maybe she was part of it, but I think those other 2 guys were a part of it as well and put her up to basically pleading guilty so they would not be tried. Something here seems fishy.

The only thing I can think of is that she just happened to see those 2 guys out there while she was moving the car and thought just to add them to the story. I find that highly unlikely though. I think the police needed shut this case up quick so that's the story they went with, that Brittany did it all by herself. Someone needs to explain who those 2 guys were outside, and why her own lawyer threw in the towel for her without putting up a fight. I completely feel for the victims family, I just want to see justice properly done. Anyone with more information please let me know because I am interested in any details.

M Johnson, I haven't found a link but it has bothered me ever since I watched the episode. If you find one please let me know because I want to watch it again and show some other people.

So what about the footage of the 2 guys in black from the Apple surveillance outside camera? There are a few things that don't add up to me; 1.) She stated that the crime was done by 2 guys in black, and there is footage to verify that. 2.) She denied it all along until she gets to trial? what made her change her story. 3.) Why be so afraid of shoplifting but not so afraid of 1st degree murder? 4.) How elaborate of a plan is this for just 1 person, it seems that this is the type of crime committed by more than a single person. 5.) If the victim wasn't fatally hit until the 332nd hit, wouldn't it be reasonable to think she would have been able to escape at some point?

and she stayed calm enough to lay there in a pool of blood until the morning? Either this is the most deranged person on the face of the Earth (and coincidentally had 2 guys in black at the same time of the murder), or something seems botched about this investigation. This initially was just a theory by the young lead detective that she perpetrated the crime all by herself. I just don't understand how everyone totally jumped on that bandwagon without answering some of these other questions.

I just checked and think the are going to replay it on the ID (Investigate discovery) Channel this Saturday at noon Central time. Please try watching it and let me know what you think.

maybe she was in such a state of shock about all of it and that she had no reaction, What kind of defense team admits guilt right away? Maybe she was put up to admitting guilt for the sake of saving her family. Maybe the story of her moving her car was taken out of context. There are a lot of things that make me think this should be investigated a little more thoroughly. Why would she commit the murder at the store location? If this was pre meditated murder wouldn't it be reasonable to think she would have done it at some other location?
Dave Semko June 10, 2012 at 07:36 AM
Once the police determined Brittany was the sole person involved in the murder (which was determined just days after the murder) then they stopped looking into all the other possibilities. For example, THE 2 GUYS THAT WERE DRESSED IN BLACK OUTSIDE THE STORE RIGHT AT THE SAME TIME FRAME THE MURDER HAPPENED!!! Somebody please get back to me about this because I am really bothered by this open and shut case when it seems to me there are a lot of questions that need to be answered.

Needless to say, no foot prints LED OUT of the shop. The killer indeed was there and "she" nevre left! Agreed that that 2 men in black is certainly a point to be established, but the sudden fact that she forgot to mention they forced her to go to the car and move it to another location then COME BACK, when she had already said her friend was DEAD!! Hmm those footprints never leaving the store is the most damaging of ALL:
Dave Semko June 13, 2012 at 01:08 AM
Whos to say that one of the "men in black" didn't put on the shoes to throw things off? I don't understand how that it was an inside job is the only theory. Maybe shw was so traumatized by the entire event that her memory wasn't totally clear. Maybe she was a part of it but didn't want to rat out the other guys. Maybe she is being threatened to admit guilt. The point is there seems to be a lot of things that seem very odd to me.

I'm so glad I read these comments. Were we supposed to forget about the footage they showed us from the surveillance video of the two guys/girls/people in all black? The lead detective said, "These are our guys," as he's watching the video. I love this show, but I have to say it looks like they're toying with us on this episode. Either don't show us the footage because it's footage from another store on another night depicting another (completely unrelated) crime OR offer at least a somewhat believable explanation of why these two people might have been dressed like this on the same night a grusome murder took place.
