Bethesda Metro Escalators Back in Service
Station remains open; shuttle bus service up and running.
Update, 4:31 p.m.: Metro reports the escalators are back in service.
Original post, 3:10 p.m.: Metro reports that due to a mechanical problem, all entrance escalators at the Bethesda station are out of service Saturday, Aug 6.
Shuttle bus service has been established, and the station remains open.
