Normal Metro Service Resumes Following Rail Problem At Medical Center

Issue with third rail at Medical Center caused delays, Metro spokesman says.

Update, 10:30a.m.: Metro reported via its Twitter page that normal train service has resumed on the Red Line following the earlier rail problem at Medical Center.

Normal service resumed around 10 a.m. Riders should expect residual delays, Metro reported.

Original Post: Metro trains are single-tracking between Medical Center and Grosvenor due to a problem with the third rail at Medical Center, WMATA reports.
