Near Chevy Chase This Weekend: Easter Egg Hunt, Hawks and Owls, Trolley Rides and More

Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Check out some of the fun things going on around the county.

Easter Egg Hunt

  • Where: 12700 Middlebrook Rd., Germantown.
  • When: Saturday, March 30, noon.
  • Description: Hunt features more than 50,000 plastic stuffed eggs. Kids will hunt in age groups. Eggstravaganza includes entertainment, free Little Caesar’s pizza, refreshments, face painting, carnival games, pictures with the Easter bunny and more.
  • Cost: Free.

Easter Breakfast

  • Where: Covenant United Methodist Church, 20301 Pleasant Ridge Dr., Montgomery Village.
  • When: Sunday, March 31, 7:15 a.m.
  • Description: Breakfast will include scrambled eggs along with muffins, bagels, fruit, juice and coffee.
  • Cost: Free.

National Capital Trolley Museum—Spring Break Special

  • Where: Meadowside Nature Center, 5100 Meadowside Ln., Rockville.

  • Description: Meadowside Nature Center invites locals to observe and ask questions about large birds during the birds' feeding time.

Takoma Park Food Pantry
