Norwood's Defense Waives Preliminary Hearing

Brittany Norwood, accused of killing her co-worker at the Lululemon shop March 11, had been scheduled to go before a judge April 15.

The Associated Press reports that a court date for Brittany Norwood, the woman at Bethesda's Lululemon shop March 11, has been postponed.

Norwood, 28, was scheduled to face a preliminary hearing in Montgomery County District Court April 15.

Norwood was initially described as the surviving victim of an attack by two masked men at the shop, but police later arrested her and said she had to make it appear as though an attack had taken place.

 waived the preliminary hearing, according to Seth Zucker, a spokesman for the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. The state now has until May 12 to move the case from District Court to Circuit Court.

Norwood's lawyers didn't immediately return a call for comment.
