Thefts from vehicles and a residential burglary reported in Bethesda.

Montgomery County Police recently released a summary of crimes in the second district from Feb. 20 to Feb. 28. Following is a summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.

Feb. 23

  • A home was burglarized in the 5500 block of Greentree Road sometime between Wednesday, Feb. 22, and Thursday, Feb. 23.  There was unforced entry into the home and property was stolen.

  • Four thefts from vehicles were reported in Bethesda during the day at residential and commercial lots and garages. One of the thefts involved forced entry. Items were stolen including laptops and cash.
  • A 33-year-old make from Rockville was arrested in connection with two thefts from unlocked vehicles in Bethesda and Chevy Chase.
