Police Blotter: Nov. 14 - Nov. 22

An assault and residential, commercial burglaries reported.

Montgomery County police recently released a summary of crimes in the second district from Nov. 14 through Nov. 22. Following is a summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.

 

Nov. 15

  • LaSalle Hotel Properties -- an office at 3 Bethesda Metro Center -- was burglarized in the overnight hours from Tuesday, Nov. 15, to Wednesday, Nov. 16. There was forced entry and property was stolen.
  • There was a theft from a vehicle near the at 7101 Democracy Boulevard sometime between 8 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. A vehicle part was stolen.

Nov. 18

  • A home was burglarized in the 6100 block of Massachusetts Avenue at 2 a.m. There was unforced entry into the home and nothing was stolen.

Nov. 20

  • There was a commercial burglary at Jim Coleman Automotive, 10400 Auto Park Avenue, sometime between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. There was unforced entry into the business and property was stolen. The suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Nov. 21

  • A home was burglarized in the 4400 block of Ridge Road sometime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. There was forced entry and property was stolen.
  • CBIZ, an office at 3 Bethesda Metro Center, was burglarized at an unknown time. It’s not known how the suspect entered the business or whether anything was stolen.

Nov. 22

  • A woman was assaulted and robbed near Brookdale Road and Overbrook Road around 9:30 p.m. Police are searching for two male suspects.
