Many a curious onlooker has been drawn to the new Bethesda Row fountain after it debuted in front of this weekend.
The artistic water feature, based around a circular pool and a decorative floor mosaic, lends a new feel to the iconic Bethesda gathering place. The fountain location has long been a meeting spot, a people-watching destination, and one of the centers of the community.
Construction on the project began in May, and the project was finally revealed during a Saturday event. But did the new fountain land with a splash or a thud?
