CalTort Launches NCAA-Style Showdown For Next Menu Pick

The 'Elito 8' will go head-to-head in four brackets, beginning on 'Selection Monday.'

Now burrito fans as well as basketball fans have a reason to get "mad" this March. Cal-mex chain and Bethesda favorite California Tortilla has launched an 'Elito 8' competition to determine the next limited-time menu offering.

During the NCAA-style showdown, CalTort fans can vote for eight possible menu items in four brackets, leading up to the semi-finals and culminating with an April 5 championship. The "Elito 8" are being revealed "Selection Monday," March 18, on Facebook and the California Tortilla website.

Each online vote will be counted as an entry into a drawing for a catered NCAA Championship viewing party for 20. The winner will be announced April 6, just in time for the big game.
