Thieves stole items from cars parked at a Bethesda church and library last month, Montgomery County police reported in a recent crime summary.
Two cars parked at the Bethesda United Church of Christ were broken into sometime between 9 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, Dec. 18, according to the summary.
The same day, items were stolen from a car parked in the lot of the nearby Davis Library sometime between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., police reported.
Force was used to enter all three of the cars, police said.
Two thefts from cars parked in the 7500 block of Woodmont Avenue and the 4500 block of Cheltenham Drive were reported overnight between Thursday, Dec. 20 and Friday, Dec. 21. Both of the vehicles were unlocked.
The following Sunday, Dec. 23, force was used to enter a car parked in the 4900 block of Bethesda Avenue on popular Bethesda Row.
Thefts from vehicles across Bethesda were also reported earlier in December.
