This Weekend: What To Know If You're Taking Metro
Add 20 minutes to your commute on the Red Line.
If you're hopping the Red Line this weekend, here's a few things you should know.
Trains will single-track between Grosvenor-Strathmore and Twinbrook stations between 9:30p.m. Friday and closing Sunday for platform rehabilitation work at White Flint and Twinbrook.
On the other side of the Red Line, trains will single-track between the Takoma and Forest Glen stations from 10p.m. Friday through closing Sunday for upgrades to train control rooms.

Trains will run about every 12 minutes between Grosvenor-Strathmore and Takoma between 9a.m. and p.m. weekend days. Trains at all other stations and outside of those times will run about every 24 minutes.
All Red Line riders should add about 20 minutes to their commute this weekend.
