U.S. Open Merchandise Pavilion Opens to Public Thursday

Shoppers can peruse 36,000 square feet of U.S. Open swag.

Don’t have a ticket for the U.S. Open, but still want to take home a souvenir?

Well, you’re in luck. Thursday, the U.S. Open Merchandise Pavilion at Congressional Country Club will open to the public—yes, even non-ticket holders. While the course will be closed, shoppers can peruse the 36,000 square-foot pavilion with more than 400,000 items of U.S. Open-logoed merchandise.

The items include shirts, hats, jackets, lapel pins, divot tools, and golf markers, to name just a few.

The pavilion will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Sunday. Free parking is available in a lot off Oaklyn Drive—see the attached flier for directions—and shuttles will be provided to and from Congressional.

Open officials advise shoppers that they may want to avoid River Road for potential traffic tie-ups, though the traffic is sure to be at its peak when the Open officially begins Monday.
