Water Main Break Floods Bethesda Garage

Traffic impacts on Wisconsin Avenue could be felt into the evening rush hour.

A water main break flooded the parking lot of the Adagio garage near Wisconsin Avenue and Bradley Boulevard, backing up Friday morning rush traffic on Wisconsin Avenue and damaging several cars, The Gazette reports.

The break prompted the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission to cut water service to retail stores in the 2800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, according to the report. Water was restored around 10:30 a.m.

Two to three feet of water gathered in the garage, and crews were pumping out the water Friday morning, The Gazette reports.
