We're Merging Chevy Chase and Bethesda Patches!

The merge, which will take place on Thursday, will bring all the news you need to know in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area to one site: Bethesda-Chevy Chase Patch.

Have you ever wondered if you should be checking both Bethesda and Chevy Chase Patches to get all the news you need?

Worry no longer: On Thursday, April 18, we'll be merging the Chevy Chase and Bethesda Patches to form Bethesda-Chevy Chase Patch, in an effort to strengthen our coverage of both communities.

Based on the ways we’ve seen you—our faithful readers and advertisers—use the two sites, it just seemed like good common sense to combine them. Now, instead of asking you to check two different sites for the news and information you need, you’ll have it all in one place.

After Thursday's merger, visitors to www.chevychase.patch.com and www.bethesda.patch.com automatically will be re-directed to www.bethesda-chevychase.patch.com.

Don’t worry: We'll still offer the same coverage of everything happening in both towns. We aren’t reducing our focus on either of them. This is meant to help us provide better coverage of the things that matter to residents of both communities, which is something we’re always striving to do. But as always, if you think we're missing anything, let us know.
