Weird News Near Bethesda, Chevy Chase: Across-the-Street Robberies in Friendship Heights

A group of masked robbers smashed display cases at the Cartier jewelry shop in Friendship Heights' tony shopping center, The Collection at Chevy Chase on Tuesday, and escaped with high-priced merchandise.

Gap Robbed at Knifepoint

Less than an hour after Cartier in Chevy Chase was robbed by masked robbers Tuesday, the Gap store across the street was robbed by a suspect wielding a knife.

The three suspects approached their victim in the 6200 block of Breezewood Drive in Greenbelt, MD.
