Will You Bike to Work on May 17?

There could be a new bicycle in it for you.

Will you be among the besuited masses hitting the streets on bikes Friday, May 17, in celebration of Bike to Work Day 2013?

Organizers are hoping to encourage more commuters in the Washington, DC, region to consider forsaking cars for bikes as a "clean, fun and healthy way" of getting around.

In Montgomery County, 17 pit stops will offer free t-shirts and refreshments to registered participants along with the chance to enter to win a free bike. If your daily commute takes you outside of the county, 50-something other pit stops abound from Dale City, VA, to Frederick, MD, and many points in between. (Check out the map of pit stops, here.
