Bethesda Painting Awards
The
Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District is currently accepting applications
for the tenth annual Bethesda Painting Awards. Deadline for submission is Friday, February 21, 2014. The first
place winner will be awarded $10,000 and up to eight finalists will be invited
to display their work at Gallery B in downtown Bethesda.
The competition will be juried by Carrie Patterson, Associate Professor
of Art at St. Mary’s College of Maryland; Paul
Ryan, Professor of Art in the Department of Art and Art History at Mary
Baldwin College and Judy Southerland, artist
and adjunct faculty at the Corcoran College of Art & Design.
