Bethesda Painting Awards Call For Artists

The Bethesda Painting Awards is downtown Bethesda's annual juried art competition that exclusively honors painters from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. $14,000 in prize monies are awarded to the top four painters annually. Best in show receives $10,000. The 2013 Jury consists of Tim Doud, Associate Professor of Art at American University, Duane Keiser, acclaimed painter, and Christine Neill, Professor of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art. The Jurors will select up to nine finalists who will be invited to display their work in a group exhibition at Gallery B in downtown Bethesda in June 2013.
