Inaugural Bethesda Film Fest Call for Entries

The Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District announces the first Bethesda Film Fest, scheduled for 8pm, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Imagination Stage in downtown Bethesda. Bethesda Film Fest is produced by the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District.


The Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District is accepting submissions for the inaugural Bethesda Film Fest. Selected filmmakers will be invited to show their documentary at the formal screening and will receive a $150 honorarium. Entries will be viewed by the Bethesda Film Fest selection panel, consisting of Angelica Das, Associate Director at the Center for Social Media at American University’s School of Communication; David Stern, Director of Digital Media at Imagination Stage, and members of the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District Board of Directors.


Filmmakers can apply by mailing a completed application and DVD including the documentary, 5-20 minutes in length, to Bethesda Film Fest c/o Bethesda Urban Partnership, 7700 Old Georgetown Rd., Bethesda, MD 20814.
