In an effort to spread holiday cheer and goodwill this season, Westfield Montgomery has teamed up with 5 local non-profit organizations for a Festival of Trees. Each organization is responsible for decorating a tree with the theme to “best represent their organization.” All five trees will be on display at the shopping center from Nov. 19 through Dec. 24 on the lower level at the Santa Set in the Center Court. Shoppers will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite trees through Dec. 24. Voting boxes and ballots are available at the Concierge desk (lower level, Nordstrom wing) along with non-profit group informational brochures. The non-profit that receives the most votes will receive a $1,500 donation from Westfield.
“We are proud to partner with a special group of organizations whose impact on the local community does not go unnoticed,” said Joanna Caputi, Director of Marketing, Westfield Montgomery. “There is something so nostalgic about being in a mall during the holidays and I have no doubt that the Festival of Trees will be a great addition to the excitement around here.”
Organizations that are participating in the Westfield Montgomery Festival of Trees include: The Lupus Foundation of America, American Diabetes Association, American Humane Association, Teal Toes, and The Prevention of Blindness Society.
Members of the community are invited to come to Westfield Montgomery to admire the unique decorations in support of local charity organizations and learn more about each organization’s mission. Voting is available now through December 24th, so gather your friends and family to come to Westfield Montgomery and vote for a cause!
