Difficulties with sleep - falling asleep, staying asleep, and getting enough sleep - are affecting a growing number of people in our fast-paced, modern world. Lack of sufficient rest impacts our physical, emotional and mental health and well-being. This workshop with Karen Soltes will cover the latest research and information on "sleep hygiene," or the factors that contribute to improved rest. It will also include breathing practices and a yoga nidra - or "yogic sleep" - practice specifically designed to help create the conditions for improved sleep and restoration in the nervous system. No previous experience required.
