Got Space Travel? Book Reading/Signing for Mickey Price:Journey to Oblivion by John Stanley

Mickey Price: Journey to Oblivion by John Stanley

Mickey Price: Journey to Oblivion is set at the height of NASA’s lunar program in the 1970s.  It is the story of Mickey and a group of other kids who are selected for a mysterious and previously undisclosed space mission.

Buzz Aldrin says it “captures all the danger, mystery and excitement of NASA moon missions with laugh-out-loud moments along the way.”  Fans of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson will love Mickey Price.

John is a former long-time DC/Chevy Chase resident, now living in North Carolina.

John originally self-published this rocket-speed adventure for Middle Grade readers (ages 7-13) which was avidly read by his twins’ friends and classmates.  When one such friend refused to put the book down during a family trip to the beach, her uncle took notice – he happened to be a literary industry executive.  He made the connection with Tanglewood Books, and the published book was born.  Now kids and parents all over the country can join Mickey on the “journey to oblivion.” Hopefully, the imaginative trip will inspire everyone to, in the words of Buzz Aldrin, “Go outside at night – look up at the moon – dream big!”
