JOIN US FOR A SPRING GRAND OPEN HOUSE at the Lycée Rochambeau-French International School

The Lycée Rochambeau - French International School is having a Spring Grand Open House that will take place on the Bradley Blvd. campus (7108 Bradley Blvd, Bethesda, MD) on Saturday, March 29th from 9:30 to noon. It will be a fabulous opportunity to meet current parents and students, talk with teachers from all three levels - preschool, elementary and secondary school - who will be presenting their programs or ask questions to our directors and Head of School. We will also present three new programs that will begin next September:

  •  A new nursery class for 2-year olds - "toute petite section" . With both a full and half-day option, this class will welcome students born Jan 1-Sept 1, 2012 into a warm and nurturing francophone school setting. It is a great opportunity to gently get familiar with school and socialization while acquiring the building blocks needed for future academic success in French and in English.
  •  An Accelerated French Immersion Class for children entering 1st to 3rd grade. This class will welcome students who do not speak French or whose French is not at grade level into a small group setting with a focus on developing their oral and written language skills and optimizing their integration into a mainstream class.
  • Arabic language option in the Middle School (6th to 9th grades). Starting in 6th grade, students will be able to choose Arabic at the beginner and advanced levels for their language option. Arabic will be offered in addition to the current choices of Spanish and German. We also offer an elective class in Latin.
Families of any nationality including French and with children in all grade levels are welcome to apply to the school’s financial aid program. The school has significantly increased its financial aid budget over years past. The French government also provides financial aid to qualifying French families.
