Competition Set to Crown Montgomery County’s
Best Bartender. 

Stella Artois is looking for Montgomery County’s best bartender.  The contest will be held on February 16, 2014 from 7 – 11 PM at the
Hanaro Restaurant and Lounge in downtown Bethesda. The winner will be
crowned Montgomery County’s best bartender and receive $500 cash prize along
with the recognition plaque. There will be smaller cash prizes awarded for
second and third places.

Elite group of competing bartenders will be invited to the 2014
Bartending & Flair Competition, to showcase their skills in front of a
panel of esteemed judges. Competitors will be challenged on creativity,
efficiency, and presentation! The event will be featuring Stella product sampling and giveaways, celebrity judges and local
media coverage.

The competition is comprised of 3 rounds:
flair, speed pouring and mixology. The winner will be selected based on the
overall score of all 3 rounds. The contest is open and free to the public.
Qualified bartenders must submit their request to be entered into the
competition via olavinchy@TheOLCgroup.com by 11pm on Saturday February 15,
2014. Spectators will weigh in on the mixology round and help us determine the
best cocktail. The winning concoction will be featured at Hanaro Restaurant and
Lounge during the entire month of March and named after the winner.

Enjoy complimentary Stella products and giveaways throughout the
duration of the competition. Hanaro restaurant will offer happy hour prices and
feature the signature cocktail on the bar menu, along with complimentary
H'orderves.
