Echo Park’s Spanish Ballroom on Saturday, January 11, 2014 featuring Halley’s Hot Gumbo
Swingtet.  Washington’s own Halley Shoenberg is an
inspired jazz star who has graced stages from the Kennedy Center to Germany and
added her talents to jazz festivals in DC, British Columbia, New York, and New
Orleans.  With her utter mastery of sound
and mood playing her clarinet and saxophone, she’ll have you swingin’ all night.  There will also be a special
dance performance by DC’s own Fidgety Feet dance team!  The
60-minute swing dance lesson begins at 8 pm with dancing until midnight.  Admission is $16.  No partner required.
