Tales of Beatrix Potter

Applause Unlimited, the company that performed the touching
story of The Velveteen Rabbit last season, returns to the Puppet Co.
Playhouse.  Tales of Beatrix Potter (licensed
by Frederick Warne & Co.) showcases three of Potter’s favorites:  “The Tale of Two Bad Mice,” “The Tale of
Jemima Puddle-Duck” and “The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher.” Storyteller and
puppeteer Christopher Hudert brings these stories to life through the everyday
activities of a young girl dreaming and playing alone in her room.  He uses hand puppets, song and narration to
tell these gentle stories, displaying the power of a child’s imagination.  Show runs Jan. 17 – Feb. 9, 2014.  Show times:
Fridays at 10 & 11:30 a.m.; Saturdays & Sundays at 11:30 a.m.
& 1 p.m.  Recommended: PreK – Grade
4.  Running time: 45 min. Call our box
office at (301) 634-5380 or visit us online at www.thepuppetco.org to get your
tickets today!
