Wild on the Pacific Crest Trail

Over three summers, Locust Grove naturalist Barb Nash walked the 2650
miles of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Join her for a slide show of this epic
border-to-border journey from Mexico to Canada, beginning in the deserts of
Southern California, traversing the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada and ending
among the glaciers and misty forests of Washington’s North Cascades. After almost
200 days (and nights) on the trail (in a tent), she is ready to answer your
questions about practical matters (food, water, shelter, what to do when the
bear comes) and help you decide if this is the trail for you! Please register
all attendees. Children must be
accompanied by an adult.  For more information call 301-765-8660, www.LocustGroveNature.org.
